We're proud to be an organization that is powered by real people, working together, to build a better ward and a better Chicago.
Each year, our organization elects a steering committee to help guide our work. Our steering committee is responsible for tasks such as developing our monthly agendas, coordinating our collaborations with other organizations, and making decisions when rapid-response needs arise.
Later this month, our current steering committee's terms will finish, and we are looking for five volunteers who can help us carry out our goals for the year ahead.
Members in good standing may nominate themselves or another member in good standing. All nominations are due by Saturday, March 20. To nominate yourself or another member, please fill out the nomination form here.
All candidates will be considered at our March 27 membership meeting and voted on by our members in the following week.
