Join us Sunday, Oct 22, from 4PM-7PM at our office/backyard for an Asylum Seeker's Fundraiser to fund the work of The Community Care Collective 33!
We will have live music from La Obra (featuring vocals from Graciela Guzmán), custom-made "Care For Each Other" t-shirts, local food, beverages, and more!
We will be selling tickets on a sliding scale for the fund:
- Mutual Aid Tier Level 1 ($10)
- Supporter Tier Level 2 ($40)
- Welcoming Neighbor Tier Level 3 ($60)
- Solidarity Supporter Tier Level 4 ($100)
If you are unable to attend the fundraiser, but you'd still like to purchase a t-shirt in solidarity, we are asking for $20.
The Community Care Collective 33 (CCC33) has been organizing in and around our ward to provide support for migrants at our local police district and at local shelters. But as the buses continue to arrive and the state and federal governments continue to drag their feet on providing both asylum and resources: CCC33 continues to need grassroots support.
