The Political Education Committee is hosting our first education workshop for 33rd Ward Working Families members on “The Case for Abolishing Tax Increment Financing (TIF)”. We will cover the basics of what the TIF is, why the very nature of the TIF produces inequality, and why leftists should work toward abolishing the TIF in favor of more equitable neighborhood development resources.
