Treatment Not Trauma Canvass 10.2

Treatment Not Trauma Community Canvass!

Join 33rd Ward Working Families as we hit the doors to talk to our neighbors about Alder Rossana Rodriguez's Treatment Not Trauma Ordinance, which seeks to create a 24-hour 211 crisis response hotline for mental health related emergencies and to reopen Chicago's shuttered mental health clinics. We need to fully fund these essential community safety programs that keep our communities safe and healthy. Can you join us for an afternoon of important conversations with neighbors about how to win the resources we need?

We'll have materials, snack, and a quick training to get us started and then we'll head out in pairs to talk to neighbors. We'll finish up with lunch and a debrief. If you want to learn a little more about the Treatment Not Trauma ordinance in the meantime, check out the Collaborative for Community Wellness for more details.
