August Members Meeting

***RSVP below for Zoom details

A city's budget is a direct reflection of its values, and with next year's budget on the way along with nearly $2 billion in COVID relief money, the city has big decisions to make about what matters most.

Amid an ongoing global pandemic and economic crisis for the working class, Mayor Lightfoot has announced plans to allocate our resources to a 10% raise for CPD and prioritizing debt. But we need support for rental assistance, mental health programs, child care, homeless services, and violence prevention.

We invite you to join the fight for a budget that prioritizes our community's needs—not even more money for cops and banks. Join our monthly members meeting THIS SATURDAY, August 28, from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm to learn how you can get plugged into this year's municipal budget fight.
