Before you go socially distant trick-or-treating, come hear about what we're working on this fall at our October membership meeting.
We'll tell you how to get involved in efforts such as
- Providing Treatment, Not Trauma: Ald. Rossana Rodriguez's proposal to create safer neighborhoods through a new rapid-response program to address mental health crises.
- Supporting Democracy and Transparency: Working with our neighboring IPOs to improve and democratize the process of political appointments, particularly the upcoming state senate vacancy.
- Giving Power to Ward Residents through new community-driven processes such as participatory budgeting that lets us vote on how we want to spend $1 million each year, and a community-driven zoning process for new development.
It's happening by Zoom Saturday, October 24 at 11:30 am. Sign up below to receive the call-in details.
