We’re getting new trees, playgrounds, and crosswalks through our 33rd Ward participatory budgeting process.
Participatory budgeting lets ward residents vote on how to spend $1 million each year to improve our neighborhoods. 33rd Ward Working Families had called for a participatory budgeting process, and Ald. Rossana Rodriguez introduced it when she was elected in 2019.
We’re proud to see so many neighbors take part and have a vote in how our dollars are spent and on what our communities need. Thank you to all who voted and volunteered!
